Environmentally-aware ARCADIA

Its name derived from an idyllic place where people could live in perfect harmony with the Spirit of Nature, Arcadia prides itself on blending environmentally-friendly practices with cutting-edge design to produce fibreglass yacht ranging from 85 to 115-feet, with reduced environmental impact.

The company describes its vessels as "quiet, functional and easy to manage boats for a simply unique yachting experience".

The Arcadia 115 JURATA, the third in the series, is a 35m superyacht designed and built with minimising its carbon hull print as a major objective, capturing a 2013 RINA Award for ecology. JURATA comes with a Jacuzzi on the foredeck as well as slightly lowered bulwarks on the main deck, which offer the 10 guests on board improved views from inside. Other special features include double glazing solar panels and a hybrid propulsion system. JURATA can achieve zero emissions and cruise in absolute silence at 8 knots, with a maximum speed of 16 knots.

A smaller sister MY GOOD LIFE is an Arcadia 85 (25.91m), is a popular charter yacht in the Mediterranean. Launched in 2009, pioneering the ecological green concept, GOOD LIFE'S naval architecture and interior design were undertaken by Francesco Guida. Described as a floating villa, with its futuristic interiors, GOOD LIFE accommodates eight guests in four cabins.

With ample volume and 60m² of deck space, GOOD LIFE boasts zero speed stabilisers giving her maximum stability at anchor.

Now, the next stage of the company's evolution will be to produce models over 155 feet.

Motor Yacht Arcadia JURATA Spacious and Bright Interior

The Arcadia 100 will have three decks and an overall length of 31.06m, a beam of 7.75m, and a displacement at full load of 110 tons.

With an optimised hull that aims to reduce the fuel consumption compared to other yachts of similar dimensions, the new Arcadia 100 is powered by two 1,000 hp engines to reach a maximum speed of 18 knots. The yard says at 16 knots, fuel consumption is approximately 260 Litres per hour and at 14 knots this decreases to 160 Litres per hour.

Arcadia 100's extended cruising range is also favoured by low generators usage. When the yacht is at anchor during the daylight, electrical energy production can be also supplied by the solar panels that cover almost all its superstructure.

Motor Yacht Arcadia JURATA Large and Comfortable Guest Stateroom

The design for the Arcadia 145 has been finalised and the shipyard is ready to start construction. The project is for a 44m yacht below 500GT.

The yard says the Arcadia 145 will be a benchmark for yachts of this size, with solar panel verandas, already present on other models of the Arcadia range, located on the upper deck and expected to produce up to 6 kWh, a 25 percent increase in green energy.

Arcadia has announced the model will be available in two versions, both featuring the owner's suite on the main deck, with an adjacent office and sitting room, a spacious bathroom and direct access to the lobby. Ample bay windows, full height windows in the main living areas and glass panels in overheads provide natural illumination and a sense of open space.

Next on the drawing board are plans for the Arcadia 180, expected to be revealed by the end of this year.
